This place deserves the love! A grandma’s-kitchen styled restaurant with live music and wonderful servers. The menu isn’t very large but perfect for what you should get while in Budapest. The flavors were all phenomenal and seasoned wonderfully. The langos was the perfect appetizer to share — a warm fried dough with a sour cream and cheese topping really started our meal off well. Had the stuffed sour cabbage in cream and pork with paprika sauce and dumplings. Great presentations and flavor profiles. Everything about this spot is lovely — no wonder reservations are hard to come by. Came for a date night and would totally come here again with friends. Good dining experience at this restaurant. Good dining experience at this restaurant. We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us on a Saturday evening. Our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The stuffed cabbage had good flavors and the pan fried chicken was good but nothing that stands out. Overall a great dining experience and the prices were a little on the expensive side.

Really good Hungarian food. Good quality and good price. The service incredible, a special mention goes to the waitress – she was incredibly polite, spoke spanish. We went with our baby, they have high chairs, they heated up the baby food and they even lent us a couple of toys for her!

Having dinner here was the perfect way to end our Budapest trip. It was truly our best dining experience in the city! We ordered the pork loin and duck leg - both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. A special thanks to our server for the attentive and friendly service, and to the musician for creating such a wonderful atmosphere - the live music really put the cherry on top of our night. We’re so glad we didn’t miss this gem! We almost walked away after seeing the “fully booked” sign, but the manager kindly stopped us and offered a spare table. So grateful for that - highly recommended!

Authentic Hungarian dishes, beautiful classical piano pieces, warm hospitality service - what more can you ask for to end the day in this amazing city filled with rich history and culture. Great thanks to the service crew, cook and uncle pianist who made our perfect evening in Budapest even better. Remember to make prior reservations as the place is very popular (for the right reasons!)
