The food is absolutely delicious, with portion being very generous! The service deserves even 10 stars. Rarely seen such genuine, nice and forthcoming personel. It definitely needs to be mentionned! First time having true Hungarian food. It’s much different compared to the USA. It was heavy and delicious. The meat was tender and not dry at all. Very flavorful. The steak cuts were perfectly cooked. The fries were much better than all the other places we went in Budapest throughout our trip. Our drinks were great as well. Our waitress was super friendly and made sure we were well attended to. Reservations recommended as it can be a wait.

Visited recently and was warmly welcomed by the staff—especially Roxi, who stood out with her friendly and attentive service. The interior design is impressive: stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully put together, making for a pleasant atmosphere. Food arrived quickly, which was appreciated. However, the quality didn’t quite match the hype from other reviews. I ordered the chicken paprika, and while it wasn’t bad, it didn’t feel particularly special either—just average in flavor and presentation. Overall, great ambiance and service, but the food left me wanting more. Might return for the vibe and hospitality, but not necessarily for the meal.

First Time for me at this place, but definitely not the last one. They serve great Hungarian dishes. I’m half Hungarian so I all know them and they taste like home. Food is the one thing. But what is important for me and where I pay big attention is service. And to be honest the service here was outstanding!!! When we arrived it was super busy but the guys were super friendly at all time. Taking their time to chat with the guests and were paying attention when the dishes or glasses were empty. Excellent. Prices are a bit higher but with the quality of food and service absolutely worth it.

My husband had dish number 11 — the beef one. It was tasty, quite filling, mildly seasoned, and felt really authentic. However, dish number 10, the chicken meal, was rather bland because of the chicken itself. It was dry and overcooked, and the seasoning was a bit too strong. The bread was really good — fresh and tasty. We loved the white wine — it was smooth and full of flavor. The decoration was traditional and very cozy. Above all, the prices were disproportionate to the food — they were quite high.
