We went here on a Thursday night, it was so busy, so I highly recommend you book, as there was always a line out the front waiting to come in. There are little steps around the place ,so watch where you walk. The staff were fantastic, some cheeky when i was taking photos, they explained things and were very quick on getting your drinks and clearing away dirty dishes. The toilets weren't too bad ,but they are used by 2 other restaurants. There was a disabled one, but navigating around tables and through the doors, you will need to take someone with you. The noise level was a bit high, so people on our table that had hearing aids had a lot trouble hearing. The food was was tasty and there was a huge selection to pick from, but I wasn't happy with the price of mine ($47) and the amount I received. I ordered garlic prawns, they said i received 5 prawn, it wasn't it was 4 with a extra head and it looked like a shot glass amount of rice. They weren't even jumbo prawns. The flavour was there though. The other people on our table were happy with the amount of food they received on their plates. So if you order Pasta, its great, but if you want prawns go somewhere else. If you like my reviews please follow us around Australia 🇦🇺.

Had the absolute pleasure of having dinner here. 3rd time lucky to get booking for 12 of us. Most of ua vegetarian and people here pretty much customised everything for us.. Food was amazing, could not believe a mushroom based pizza can taste this good, had it all by myself. Nick the host for us was absolute legend, funny, friendly and looking after us and everysingle dish.. wasn't easy for anyone to handle TBH bug he did. To end with sticky date pudding, the best ever for me.

Perfect place if you like Italian cuisine and great hospitality. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and comforting. Foods amazing, as are the cocktails. Without cocktails this place is quite affordable, we wanted a treat and splurged.

Great menu range and all the dishes were superb. Great place with a vibrant and friendly staff who were onto anything you need in an instant. The seafood pasta was simply exquisite and beautifully prepared. Price was really reasonable.

Simply a divine place to eat! The staff are so friendly, attentive, knowledgable and professional. The choice of authentic Italian cuisine will satisfy any palate. Freshly cooked, well presented and honestly delicious. A comprehensive choice of drinks to complement the food whilst looking out over the Esplanade. Open from 6.30am for breakfast right through until 10pm for dinner - whether you need that early start, brunch, lunch, afternoon light meal or full dinner, this is the place to come! We have been twice now and have nominate Villa Romana as our 'go to' place in Cairns
