Amazing Greek restaurant! The food was perfect, Kostas was incredibly friendly, and we honestly felt like we were eating in Greece. We went there three days in a row and tried almost everything from the menu. Thank you for the amazing experience. The best restaurant in Cairns.

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant with my friends. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Yaya’s Hellenic delivered an incredible dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was amazing — relaxed yet vibrant — and the views were absolutely stunning, adding a perfect touch to the evening. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. One of the team members even moved us to a better table with a view, which really elevated the whole experience. It’s clear they care about their guests and want everyone to enjoy themselves. We ordered the banquet to sample a bit of everything, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was delicious, but the standout for me was definitely the lamb cutlets — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Highly recommend Yaya’s Hellenic for anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and a beautiful setting. We’ll definitely be back!

My partner and I are visiting Cairns and decided to try this place after seeing the great reviews cuz we love Greek food! The owner was super friendly and even found us a table without a booking, despite it being packed. All the staff were lovely and attentive, and looked after us so well. The food was amazing, we had tiger prawn spaghetti, lamb cutlets, and roast eggplants with mince. Huge portions and so tasty! We loved it so much and we came back the next day after snorkeling(still no booking because we have forgotten😭, however got a very nice table still!). Got the baked pasta, mixed meat plate (forgot the name)and baklava ice cream. So good!! Thanks for two fantastic meals!

Had an awesome dinner at Yaya's for our last night in Cairns yesterday. Everyone is amazing, esp our server (I didn't get her name, but she's from Melbourne). Food is absolutely delish! We had mixed grill platter, Moussaka, and George's Tigani for mains, which we devoured with so much gusto! We also had Baklava, Baklava ice cream, and my new fave dessert - Galaktoboureko! Ouzo is not my cup of tea, but the complimentary Mastika offered by Costa is divine! The sparkling wine is also great! Surely will be back to Yaya's whenever we're in Cairns!
