Honestly tasted like any white other white fish. But the thought of having a lionfish was interesting so we tried. The price sure went up compared to the menu posted on google. It was $20 for each dishes we ordered. The fries on fish and chips were so crispy, loved them! 2 stars for the service because there was really non cause it’s self service. You walk up yourself to the counter to order and you walk up to the counter yourself to pick up your orders. The seatings were not many. We went upstairs thought it’d be cooler but it wasn’t and there was a large group of people learning about lionfish so we came downstairs for the outdoor seating (3 tables to be exact) and it was really hot. There was no shade really.

This was a wonderful stop for lunch. It's situated in a really beautiful area with other businesses. We tried the lionfish and chips and it was awesome. We also picked up a beautiful necklace made from the lionfish spikes. The knowledgeable staff also explained more about the lionfish and their project to us. It truly was a highlight of my trip.

We had a wonderful experience at Lionfish Caribbean! The food was excellent, the plates were impressive, the staff really friendly, the restaurant is charming and we were lucky enough to see how the fish - freshly caught - was prepared! A wonderful discovery!

Located inside Hulanda Village, it took me by surprised and glad I found this gem. The staff explained to me about the project and the food was delicious. I didn't want to leave Curazao before trying this unique dish. Highly recommend it.
