I ordered fried red snapper, veggies and plantains with rice and beans. Everything was great, cooked with love. Fish was fresh and seasoned perfectly. First walked in I was greeted with a nice warm smile. Jazz music playing softly, dim lights. My boyfriend and I made reservations. He ordered barracuda w/ mash potatoes & salad. I ordered fried red snapper, veggies and plantains with rice and beans. Everything was great, cooked with love. Fish was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Our appetizers were crispy shrimp and muscles with lobster. We will come back before we leave! Great food!

Today we finally stopped into Van Rooi. We had a wonderful lunch of lobster bisque, ceviche, snapper, barracuda and crab salad. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. The service was great and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. We will be back again soon!

The barracuda was amazing....Outstanding hospitality and absolutely delicious food! The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and their warmth truly enhanced the dining experience. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Curaçao!

Wow! I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. The food was beautifully prepared and served, and was absolutely delicious. The chef/owner was charming and attentive. The atmosphere is very nice. We can't wait to go back and enjoy another meal.
