We went to Laguna Beach in 3 different occasions during our trip. As an Ecuadorian, I 1000% recommend this restaurant to both locals and tourists alike. The prices are very reasonable and the food and service is amazing. It was my boyfriend’s first time in Galapagos (he isn’t from Ecuador) and this really was authentic Ecuadorian food, away from the loud sounds and rush from the city center, still being close, a nice 7min walk from the center. We tried Tigrillo and Bolon for breakfast, alongside coffee, and coconut and mango juice. For dinner, we had moro con carne and arroz con menestra y camarones 🍤 and for our last day, we tried Pez Brujo (endemic in Galapagos!, a must try!) and also Atun Tapao which were delicious too. Their homemade Ají is very good as well. The waitress was kind enough to offer some tips and a trustworthy taxi driver for our visit to the high part of the island. I couldn’t recommend this place more, it’s great not to have to spend a fortune for high quality food and service 😍 Overall it is very good place. After visiting this restaurant for couple times, I can say the ceviche is the best dish on the menu. Risotto needs some improvement- it was very overcooked but still tasty. The service is friendly, calm and slow making you very hungry by the time you get your food 😆 This place was near one of our tour routes and i definitely recommend this spot. The soup was sublime and light. The chicken was well fried and I was surprised how good the rice was alone, my only complaint would be the side of pasta as I found it to be bland. Without asking you get a freshly squeezed cup of juice. Other than that I ordered a drink which was the Malibu beach. It took a while to have it served but once it arrived I understood why. Considering it was ordered before the second dish was served and came after it was eaten I wouldn’t recommend it as it seemed too time consuming to make and not one to chug down without getting a brain freeze. The service was attentive but we had two servers-one that sat us and took our orders and the other that served the food. I ordered the drink with the second server which made me concerned if it was taken considering the wait time. But again there is a bar so if you’d want it quicker I’d probably say do that.

This local restaurant is located away from the touristy part of town but set in a serene setting with a beautiful garden. The popular items are the ceviche and fried bruho fish. Portions are generous, so one fish is big enough for two. Tasty cocktails too— although I couldn’t really taste the alcohol. The only reason it wasn’t a 5-star was due to the slowness in service, as there was only 1 server running around. Bring mosquito sprays!

Great food in a lovely themed restaurant. Staff were very helpful and polite. There is a small play area with a slide and see-saw which is fun after a couple of cervezas!
