The tequeños de ají de gallina were a fantastic modern twist on a classic, warm and filling. The rocoto relleno came out in a cast-iron skillet alongside pastel de papa and was full of flavor and comfort. For drinks, both the pisco intipalka chilcano clásico and the maracuyá pisco sour were excellent — refreshing and balanced. A must-visit if you want authentic food in a place that’s as much about the atmosphere as the meal. Well worth the visit. My Spanish is limited. But I managed to order and had a great experience. This restaurant is always a "must" every time I travel to Peru. The food has the authentic Peruvian flavor, don't miss it!

Big choice of delicious local plates, all well served. Very kind and quick service. Great pisco sours with different arranged piscos aviable. The place is big, lots of tables, if you like the tavern atmosphere it's a place not to miss.
