Thanksgiving Dinner at the JW Marriott is always enjoyable. The photos speak for themselves! The restaraunt was a little noisy as many people simply don’t know how to behave in a restaurant.

La Vista in the JW Marriott at La Plaza de Salazar. I might call this a VERY good overpriced hotel restaurant (but also worth eating at). I showed up on a weekend and they tried to push me to the buffet which looked incredible and even included a chocolate fountain. But instead I ordered the Ensalada del Campo which had candied almonds (my new favorite), cubed Brie, and these marinated skinned apples that were amazing! The Pescado Costeros was also wonderful. It was served in a puréed Lima bean - shrimp bisque sauce. Sergio, my server, threw in a shrimp cocktail from the buffet that I didn’t partake in. La Vista had an incredible desert collection including the chocolate fountain! My meal was $56 USD including tip.
