Amazing restaurant located inside a gallery/patio where there are several options for eating. We had typical Peruvian food, sharing the "chaufa amazónico" and the "paiche a la brasa", which were both amazing and well served (the chaufa was easily enough for two people). The service was polite and fast. The environment is perfect with music, outdoors and everything neat and well taken care of. This place truly exceeded my expectations. The house is beautiful and wonderfully restored, the service is excellent, and the kindness of the entire staff is genuinely outstanding. The traditional Peruvian food is very, very well done — full of flavor and perfectly executed. Highly recommended! Amazing place. The decor is fantastic and matches the food. The start out with a bread basket with different breads and 3 types of butter. The choices of food are varied. Hospitality is amazing. 10/10 definitely recommend.

This place truly exceeded my expectations. The house is beautiful and wonderfully restored, the service is excellent, and the kindness of the entire staff is genuinely outstanding. The traditional Peruvian food is very, very well done — full of flavor and perfectly executed. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience at Casa tambo restaurant! The food was delicious and full of flavour. the vibes were really good and the location was perfect with a beautiful courtyard. Definitely recommend it!

The food took forever to reach my table, 1 hour approx. It did taste good. But the service was slow and careless. The restaurant was empty but the hostess sat me on the patio when it was slightly raining. The waiter didn’t bother to check on my food and when it came it did not even ask if everything was on. I ordered the “Nikkei Saltado” and the “Brick cocktail”. The drink glass was dirty. It has been nearly 45 minutes I finished and I am still waiting for my plates to be cleared. When someone finally came to the table because I asked for it, all he did was ignore me and go to the table next to me and push the plates and glassware to the side of the table and leave them there. I wanted to try dessert but nobody seems to care. Not even the manager walking around. I run a Michelin star restaurant in London and I recommend you to don’t waste your time here. There are many other good options in Lima. I’ve never felt more ignored in a restaurant like I did here.
