An out of the ordinary Northern Lights tour! Are you fit and confident in walking on ice and snow and want to reach the most scenic spots in a small, dynamic group? Using a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, we will reach the best areas with suitable skies to chase the Aurora Borealis. If the weather conditions allow, we may set off on a light hike/snowshoe walk, reaching pristine landscapes, calm fjords, frozen lakes and the best spots that the Arctic has to offer away from the crowds. Whether the ground will be covered in ice or snow, you will be provided with ice crampons or snow rackets, walking poles, thermal suits as well as foot and hand warmers. Remember to wear your own warm snow boots! Your guide will take photos of you and the lights, but if you have a camera as well, bring it along! You'll get tips on how to take your own Aurora photographs and use a professional tripod. A soup for dinner, cookies and hot drinks will warm us up in the wild, while enjoying the night Arctic sky!

Climb ladders and steps and conquer the mountain! Romsdalsstigen Via Ferrata Westwall is a real challenge, in some of worlds most spectacular scenery. Designed for experienced adventures the Westwall route is our most advanced via ferrata climb. The view as you go are simply stunning, the photo opportunities incredible and the rush of adrenaline you get from facing your fears and go through them anyway, is nothing short of fantastic!  Reasonable fitness and ability required. The climb takes on average 5-6 hrs return, where you will be guided by professional and secured to the mountain by cable throughout. Upon reaching the peak of the Nesaksla mountain, you hike via the scenic photoplatform "Rampestreken", before returning to the Norwegian mountaineering centre. Rise to the challenge! 

A perfect family exursion! Experience the nature and silence surrounded by snow-clad mountains in the valley of Mathisdalen and come join our family at Omdal farm. The sleigh is drawn by the horse breed known from the Disney movie "Frozen". The sheep you will meet, have the opportunity to be outside all year long, and in the summertime they lives side by side to the reindeer up in the mountains. After the ride, you can warm up in our Sami tent, called a lavvo, where we serve coffee/tea/pastry/cured meats.

Private cruise to the best fjord near Bergen, the Modal Fjord, an experience of silence, Fjords and waterfalls, starting outside your hotel in Bergen. We watch Bergen from the seaside with the backdrop of the mountains. Enjoy a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee while cruising the fjords, where the scenery and atmosphere shifts from city, to pristine fjord landscape and waterfalls. We get to the narrow remote fjords and villages with beautiful waterfalls, all year round. If it`s raining doesn`t matter, it makes the waterfalls more dramatic. Explore one of the Hardangerfjord’s most secluded fjord branches on a guided RIB safari from Norheimsund. This small-group boat tour takes you deep into Fyksesund, a narrow and peaceful fjord arm surrounded by steep mountains and untouched nature. We depart from Norheimsund and travel through the Hardangerfjord before entering Fyksesund, where the landscape becomes quieter and more remote. Along the way, your local captain slows down at selected points so you can enjoy the scenery and take photos. Snowshoeing is a good way to enjoy the snow if you are not steady on a pair of skis. The snowshoe trip is fully guided, and we’ll provide you with the necessary gear. I’m your guide from Oslonature, a local who knows this forest like the back of my hand. With deep knowledge of hidden trails and secret spots, I’ll lead you through Norway’s untouched beauty, away from the crowds. This hike takes place in my local forest, and is accompanied by my friendly dog. Together, we’ll explore some of the most scenic and tranquil spots in the area. In winter, the landscape transforms into a magical winter wonderland. You’ll walk through snow-covered forests, past frozen lakes, and breathe in the crisp winter air. The forest is home to a variety of wildlife, including deer, moose, badgers, martens, squirrels and hares. We’ll hike on forest trails with uneven terrain and a few hills. The adventure begins with a short 5-minute walk from the train station to the edge of the forest. From there, we start uphill, reaching a scenic viewpoint. After enjoying the view, we descend to a serene lake where we’ll take a relaxing break.

This small group tour lasts for 5-6 hours. During months with evening darkness, we are hunting clear skies within the area around Tromsø. The excursion starts at 7 p.m./19:00 and the drive can take us in all directions when heading out and away from the city lights. On some days we don´t have to go very far and can enjoy more time outdoors, while on other days we have to work a bit more and do a proper "hunt" to get what we are looking for. We do see some light on most days that we are out, but there are of course no guarantees - this is a natural phenomenon. During the evening, we make several stops to look - sometimes the lights are directly over us. Usually, if the weather and lights permit it we do a longer stop with a bonfire, a pre-prepared meal (a portion of soup/stew), and a hot drink.
