The food was outstanding & the vibe is very cool. The service was just okay. I don't mind it being slow, it comes with being in Europe, but I don't like not being attended to. Never gave me the wine I ordered, never refilled our water, never came by the table to check on us. It wasn't even busy which would make it more understandable. Reservations recommended! It was a fascinating experience dining at Bodega de los Secretos. Not only were the dishes impressive, the service was also excellent. The male manager in black glasses was friendly by offering a nice table despite my late booking. As a couple travelling to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we were truly amazed by how observant and thoughtful the restaurant was. Would definitely recommend it! Dined here tonight and it was a great meal for my first night in Madrid. Incredible food. I had the scallops for starters, sirloin for main, and chocolate coulant with mango ice cream for dessert. Bread with gazpacho I didn’t order but they gave it automatically and it was only 2.5eur anyway. Also, scallops were served right away but it wasn’t served warm - not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be. Flavor is there tho. I think the star of the night was the mango ice cream - so refreshing! Service between courses was quick and the servers were all friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. They were playing American country music the night I was there though. I think it didn’t go with the overall vibe. Either way, I hope to come back next time and perhaps try the octopus then!

My boyfriend took me there for our anniversary, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. We had scallops for starter, and then he had the butter fish, and it was the best fish that we ever tasted! And I had the beef tartar, which was also very good. Highly recommended

Great place for a special dinner with a unique setting underground. amazing atmosphere. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. I also loved the croquetas, especially the jamón ones crispy outside, creamy inside.
