Was searching for a highly rated restaurant near where we were staying and am glad that we decided to give this place a try. We ordered their croquettes with truffles, meatballs and a grilled pork shoulder. Their croquettes were absolutely amazing, crispy and thin on the outside, creamy and velvety, bursting with flavours on the inside. Their meatballs were done medium, as per recommended by their chef, served with a mushroom sauce, and we were not disappointed!! I was initially hesitant to try their grilled pork shoulder as the ones that I have tried m, always turns out to be dry but Carmen’s the pork was juicy with crispy skin, served with a wonderful dipping sauce, accompanied with smash roasted baby potatoes that were seasoned so well. We had a small serve of salad as well and loved that the dressing ratio to the serve was perfect. The guy who was serving us that night was so polite, friendly and professional with his recommendations. Overall, an excellent way to end the night with a memorable meal. We would def want to come back next time we are in town.

✨ A truly unforgettable dinner in the heart of Madrid! 🇪🇸 Dined tonight at Restaurante El Sueno de Carmen, and every dish was an absolute delight. The Ibérico ham mango salad was fresh and flavorful, and the three types of croquetas were to die for — especially the Ibérico potato, truffle cheese, and octopus varieties. The steak was perfectly cooked, and the bacalao with honey and pumpkin was simply divine. Even the fries with fried egg and jamón Ibérico hit all the right notes. We ended on a sweet note with their heavenly cheesecake — the perfect finish to an incredible meal. 🍰 💯 Highly recommended! Our last night in Madrid. Wonderful restaurant experience. Best croquettes we've had in Spain. Food was creative, delicious, well plated and most importantly the taste was delicious. Try skillful chef.

A wonderful meal with genuinely friendly staff. The dishes were creative and generously portioned—perfect if you come hungry. I especially enjoyed the whole tomato with peppers and the cheese croquette, both flavorful and satisfying. That said, many of the dishes are on the heavier side, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for something lighter. The location is a bit out of the way from central Madrid, which may be a drawback for some. Still, the warm service and high-quality food made it worth the trip.

A small and fantastic restaurant! We had dinner outside on their little patio, but the inside looked very nice as well with AC in it. We ordered the croccettas de jamon, the steak and the scallops. Everything was delicious. The wine was as well delicious. The restaurant offered us chocolate and a shot of amaro to end the dinner. Impeccable service.
