If you are looking for a place to eat by the beach, this is the place to go. Not only was the owner nice, but the food was amazing. He mentioned that he only cooks whatever he caught that's fresh. None of his seafood is frozen. Such a beautiful experience. It's a tiny little shack on the beach. They set up the table for you and even put up a tarp if it starts to rain. Very considerate of them. Unforgettable! Whenever we are in Mauritius, we go here at least once for dinner. A lovely family atmosphere, extremely fresh and delicious food. Only what the husband catches that day is served. His beautiful wife is then allowed to cook super tasty food! I read the reviews today that said it was too expensive for a public beach. But it's fresh, made with love for every guest. Easily the best meal we had in Mauritius. If you’re looking for super fresh fish and local vibes served by the friendliest couple you can imagine this is the place for you. Prices are fair and are listed on the wall. They only sell the freshest fish so you never know exactly what he will have that day. We had the lobster, shrimps in pepper and white tuna curry. Every dish was outstanding. We hung out with the owner for hours sharing stories and beers. (Also try the homemade vanilla rum). They even brought out some instruments and played some classic Mauritian music. Amazing experience. Go!!

Owners are super kind, friendly and the food is just crazy delicious !! Directly from the sea to the plate, with a quick stop on the plancha/bbq. Quantity is more than what you expect. Best experience on the island ! 😁 (PS: go for the lobster 🦞😋)
