This is a phenomenal spot for an authentic, three-course meal. It's truly unique because the chef personally explains every item, adding a wonderful touch to the experience. The food was superb, starting with the gateaux pimento which were incredibly light and airy, not dense at all. The lentil soup was equally delicious and comforting. For the main, the rice and chicken curry was perfectly cooked and packed with intense, authentic flavor. The dessert was a highlight: coconut ice cream served with pineapple jelly. It was the best ice cream I’ve ever had! Reservations are mandatory 1-2 days in advance, typically via WhatsApp. Also, do not be late—punctuality is critical, or you will miss a course. Highly recommend for an unforgettable, flavorful meal! Five stars.

Delicious and Unique Dinner at Créole Shack My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Créole Shack . The atmosphere was warm and homely, and we were welcomed with genuine kindness. The 3-course surprise menu was entirely homemade and featured authentic Mauritian flavors you rarely find in restaurants. Malini personally explains each dish before you serve yourself — a lovely, personal touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique culinary experience!

Delicious homemade food! You'll get an amazing homemade meal, all cooked on the same day. Just be sure to call ahead and book, as they prepare the portions based on reservations. For just 950 Rs per person, you get a full menu: soup, starters like gâteau piment and samosas, a main dish, sides like dahl, salad, chayote, and rice, plus a tasty dessert. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is super friendly!

Three course serving experience. Chef cooks three courses, your options are to eat it or don’t! everyone did and they loved it. Super chill and delicious real food. Family run and excellent lunch option.
