Excellent place. Our second stay in Oslo first time in the Elias restaurant. We took Elk carpaccio, smoked whale, oven baked salmon and reindeer stew. For desert we ordered pannacotta and blueberry crumble pie. That was such a perfect selection. Everything was nicely served, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Above all elk carpaccio, baked salmon and blueberry crumble pie -simply exceptional. Cosy interior, great staff, our waiter was very friendly and attentive, everything went smooth. Definitely come back here again to check other dishes. Elias Restaurant is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The waiters and staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our meal. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting it was perfect for both casual dining and special occasions. And the food? Simply outstanding! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. Must try if you are looking for good Norwegian food ! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were typical for Norway, perhaps slightly on the expensive side. Elias Restaurant is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the prices were typical for Norway, perhaps slightly on the expensive side. However, the value for money was good. The lamb was super tender, and they serve traditional dishes here.

Good Norwegian style food in the downtown area. Helpful and friendly service staff. Efficient service. Small/cozy space. Reasonable selection of drinks. They have 3-course menus too. Tusk fish was good, but it tasted average.

An exceptional dining experience! I tried the smoked whale and elk carpaccio, both of which were excellent, but the pièce de résistance was the reindeer pie, absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, and the location itself adds to the charm. I’d recommend going at lunchtime for a quieter atmosphere, but if you plan to visit in the evening, be sure to book in advance. A truly memorable meal and well worth the visit!
