Great food, with some tasty Norwegian dishes too. I went there several times during my stay in Oslo and always enjoyed it. You can go without a reservation. Lovely place and friendly staff. In the heart of city center, there are many good eateries. For my last night in Oslo, I chose Riviera which is a primarily Italian restaurant. I began with a dry vodka martini which was standard. I then had risotto with marinated shrimp, asparagus and grana padano, quite delicious and well prepared. For dessert, I tried an unusual panna cotta topped with passion fruit juice and fresh berries. This was quite tasty and different, although the panna cotta was a bit too firm. Great food great service Lots of Gluten-Free options and they happily made accommodations I had the Grilled Salmon (without the riviera sauce made it safe for GF and it was fab) and the kids had GF pasta Don't hesitate 👍 Also really cool wallpaper to entertain your eyes

In the heart of city center, there are many good eateries. For my last night in Oslo, I chose Riviera which is a primarily Italian restaurant. I began with a dry vodka martini which was standard. I then had risotto with marinated shrimp, asparagus and grana padano, quite delicious and well prepared. For dessert, I tried an unusual panna cotta topped with passion fruit juice and fresh berries. Great food great service Lots of Gluten-Free options and they happily made accommodations I had the Grilled Salmon (without the riviera sauce made it safe for GF and it was fab) and the kids had GF pasta Don't hesitate 👍 Also really cool wallpaper to entertain your eyes

Don’t miss out on this hidden gem. It’s tucked away on a side street so it’s perfect if you need somewhere you can go without a reservation. Everything was absolutely delicious. The mussels were some of the best I’ve ever had and the sauce on the pizza was super fresh. The French fries were amazing!
