My colleague and I came for the salmon, really good value. Plenty of other nice food available. Definitely better value many other places if you are going to spend about $70 ball park mark. Is the buffet worth the hype of $69pp? absolutely not - Valentines had better food when it was around. However have been here for a lot of special occasions for dinner and has been great! Room hire for a 21st was a great room too! Awesome atmosphere and good service, however the food is very average - deserts were your average home baking, delicious, but average. Drinks were good, however pricey! My friends and I came for the high tea, and it was a blast! I would like to thank Lance and Rachel for providing great customer service and being attentive. Very accommodating to cater a vegetarian alternative. Food and tea came in a timely manner. We had unlimited tea as well! Nicely lit eating area with natural lighting. Would love to come again sometime! Edit: Unsure as to why it's not displaying the star rating for 'Food', 'Service' and 'Atmosphere', which should show 5 stars for all of them!

My colleague and I came for the salmon, really good value. Plenty of other nice food available. Definitely better value many other places if you are going to spend about $70 ball park mark.

My friends and I came for the high tea, and it was a blast! I would like to thank Lance and Rachel for providing great customer service and being attentive. Very accommodating to cater a vegetarian alternative. Food and tea came in a timely manner. We had unlimited tea as well! Nicely lit eating area with natural lighting. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet whilst staying at the James Cook hotel- we are a family of 7 so that helped us save a lot. Staff are great and welcoming. They have the best pancakes freshly made to order. We did have dinner one night where kids got to eat free with every paying adult but I found $65 to be quite excessive for the quality of food. Service was still great though:-)

Had a wonderful traditional high tea while looking over wellington. Food was lovely, teas were really nice with an extremely knowledgeable waiter. Would come back for high tea again.
