I had a wonderful dining experience at Bokar restaurant located in the old town of Dubrovnik. The location is excellent, nestled right in the charming historic area which adds to the ambiance. Our waiter, Valdo (or Waldo), was exceptionally polite and provided outstanding customer service, making us feel very welcome throughout our visit. His professionalism and friendliness truly stood out. We loved the shrimp tacos and the fresh sea bass, both dishes were delicious and beautifully prepared. The quality of the food was superb, highlighting the fresh seafood that Dubrovnik is known for. The hospitality was warm and attentive, making the overall experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend Bokar for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a prime location in Dubrovnik’s old town. Very tasty dinner! I ordered the steak and my husband the lamb burger. I asked for medium rare staked but it came closer to rare. However it was delicious and I was glad it came like that. We both had a glass of red wine each (merlot and cabernet sauvignon). For dessert we had creme brulee, it was okay. The restaurant is located in a less crowded street which was very pleasant. Also it was super cool to hear the church bell ring. Friendly staff. The atmosphere and service is amazing, servers are lovely and helpful. Unfortunately the lobster and prawns are frozen, and so very overpriced. The prawn taco is literally frozen prawn with store bought sweet chilli sauce. The fish of the day was quite good. The crème brûlée was okay. Overall very expensive and overpriced restaurant.

Great service and lovely staff! The fish tacos were delicious and definitely recommended. However, the squid was a bit too salty and slightly overcooked, zuchinni in the dish was very bitter as well and the black risotto was just okay ) the cheese on top wasn't melted, just sprinkled over

It was simply amazing , I went there couple of times during my time in Dubrovnik but the food is great, truffle pasta is dish you can die for and very good local wines . The waiter was simply amazing too, very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the place is so nice as you can sit outside and admire wonderful views . I also tried the steak and creme brûlée as dessert ! Simply go and check it out while you are in Dubrovnik.
