Amazing food! The lamb was out of the world, it was fall off the bone and soo delicious. The squid ink rissoto with cuttlefish fish was amazing as well soo much soo that my kids ate it all. Alexander and the other host were both amazing and the service was one of the best I have received in many most continents. It’s well located just outside one of the old city gates. If seated outside it also has great views. I would highly recommend this restaurant while in Dubrovnik. Personally, the food here is the best out of all we tried in the Old Town area. Really great Mediterranean flavours! We visited twice out of 3 days of food, as a result. Service was what you can expect from a restaurant of the calibre, no complaints there. The waiters were pretty friendly on average! I will take a point off for a long wait for the food on the first visit (close to 45minutes), but the food is so good it made the wait seem short on hindsight. The atmosphere is great! Amazing food and tue best I’ve had in Dubrovnik! The chicken our friend had was amazing along with the lamb, bass, and Risotto! Speaking with our waiter Frano, he mentioned their meat is locally sourced from a small farm along with their vegetables! Appreciated our time here and definitely will return!

We walked by this place many times on our way into and out of the city. Great stadium seating with a nice view into the harbor. Was very slow our night, the only time as was fairly busy the rest of the week. Our waiter was super nice and friendly but a bit forgetful, having to remind him to bring things like bread. water, etc after he had already asked and it was pretty empty so very odd. Big issue was the food and portions. My fish for 30 something euros was the smallest I've even seen. Maybe 3 ounces, probably closer to 2 onces. I tried to make it last but it actually was not that tasty. Not just that but the sides were also proportionately micro sized and also not very good. If this a tasting menu need some more courses! My companions monkfish was at least regular sized but also just ok, needed salt. So many other good places around. 2 star rating based on the horrible value.

We had pasta, tuna tartare, tuna steak, and a beef steak for dinner. Everything was decent, nothing too special. The beef was a bit dry, which was a shame. Also, the red wine was served a bit too warm—just a small flaw.
