Excellent peaceful haven in the heart of the Old Town. Not cheap, but what is in Dubrovnik??? It is great value in that the quality of the food, the service and the ambience bring the dining experience to a higher level. Mali Ston oysters are superb, and we enjoyed crab salad, lamb shanks and Kubla Khan steak. Tender and juicy. Accompanied by some local reds which are excellent. Couldn’t resist the lemon tart and pistachio cheesecake, a deconstructed dessert with raspberry compote to balance the flavour of the pistachio. An excellent meal!!

A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience at Marco Polo Cuisine. We had an incredible evening at Marco Polo Cuisine! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our server Kenan made the experience outstanding - his recommendations were absolutely perfect. We started with fresh Ostrea Edulis oysters and a blue crab cannoli salad, both bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Truffle shrimp pasta and For our mains, we enjoyed a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak and a sesame-crusted tuna that was seared to perfection and full of texture and taste. To finish, we shared the pistachio raspberry cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced — made even better with the amazing dessert wine Kenan paired for us. Every detail, from the food to the service, was thoughtfully executed. Highly recommend Marco Polo Cuisine for anyone looking for a refined, memorable meal with exceptional service. We'll definitely be back!

As soon as my boyfriend and I arrived, they saw how freezing I am and one of the staff blasted the heating which I believe was very sweet. The menu wasn't very big so it wasn't difficult to pick the food out of it. Our waiter, Miki (hopefully I didn't butcher his name), was so attentive and providing us the information that we need. Then comes the wine which my partner ordered Dingac-Matusco, the BEST wine I have ever tasted in my life. We also ordered the arancini which was so nice and well-seasoned. My partner ordered the lamb which I love as it was very tender and flavourful and he loved my order duck breast. I am particularly just not into the food being seasoned with salt but otherwise didn't really ruin the whole experience. The onions which I don't normally like has just become the star of my plate. Then, finally the pistachio cheesecake which was a dream for me as I really love pistachio and it was creamy and not overly sweet. Thank you for a very pleasant experience Marco Polo and we are looking forward to seeing you again on out next trip to Dubrovnik.

While this restaurant may be more on the pricey side for some, the food was incredible. Complimentary warm pumpkin soup drinks to start, along with bread. We had the goats cheese bread and baked cannelloni to start with, and the flavours were amazing. I then had the steak which was perfectly cooked to my liking and also had amazing flavours! Some of the best food I have ever had. And cant go without complimenting the staff for their knowledge of food and lovely service! Would recommend booking too

We had dinner at Marco Polo on our first night in Dubrovnik, and it completely exceeded our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. We began with the baked goat cheese, which was incredibly flavorful—garlicky, perfectly roasted, and simply delicious. For our mains, we split the monkfish Wellington and the lamb dish, and honestly couldn’t pick a favorite. Both were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and offered such a thoughtful mix of textures and taste profiles. We ended the night with a lemon tart that struck the perfect balance of tangy and sweet, paired beautifully with a glass of Croatian white wine. The service was exceptional—Kenan was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel truly welcome. His descriptions of each dish added to the experience and made our selections even more enjoyable. The setting on the quiet, intimate patio made everything even better. It was cool, calm, and just what we needed after a long travel day. Highly recommend Marco Polo for anyone visiting Dubrovnik. A perfect blend of ambiance, service, and food.
