I know why this restaurant is the highest rated in Dubrovnik. From the minute I walked in, all staff are attentive and friendly. The host Ema was super nice and gave time to give recommendations. The waiter Juraj provided outstanding service. I had the fish menu on their special edition Good Food menu running until 19 October. Everything was just delicious and well curated. I orders meat set comprising of starter, main dish and dessert. Every dish is exceptional! Total price for this set is 35Euro. Reservation needed to make sure that you will get the table. Restaurant locates in restricted area of Dubrovnik so it is not recommended to drive here. We were back again for breakfast. Always the best! This is located just outside the Pile gate and whilst we only had tea and coffee, the food being served looked excellent. The service is prompt. The prices are probably less than half of anywhere inside the city walls, so would recommend eating and drinking here for the sake of a 20 second walk from the gate. The restaurant site has fantastic views across the side of the city walls and out to sea, and is to the west side of the city so gets a nice amount of sun most of the day after say 9am.

Ate here two nights in a row it was that good. Both nights the restaurant was packed and they went out of their way to find us a table on both evenings without a reservation. Very friendly and genuine staff made for a very enjoyable dinner. The food was excellent - very tasty, quick to the table and not over the top expensive, considering its location.

We had such a wonderful time at Dubravka 1836! The food was incredibly delicious, and the wine was incredible! The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, overlooking the sea and the historic walls of Dubrovnik. The staff was very kind, though it was a bit busy during the day, so they were understandably occupied. One of the sweetest moments was when two lovely girls offered to take a picture of my boyfriend and me. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and now we have this adorable photo to remember our delicious meal with a breathtaking view. We highly recommend making a reservation before coming because it’s such a popular spot and gets quite busy, especially during peak hours. Whether you’re looking for a meal or just a drink, this place is perfect for taking a break while exploring the beautiful city of Dubrovnik! ❤️
