THE BEST MEAL WE’VE HAD IN JAPAN! We found this place by accident. We are vegetarian (not vegan) and finding good Japanese food can be hard. However, this place makes INCREDIBLE okonomiyaki and it is by far some of the best food we’ve had this trip. The staff happily adapted their vegan menu to make it vegetarian (no meat, but using real egg etc) and it is absolutely delicious. We only had two nights in Hiroshima and we came here both nights for dinner! I also have a nut and sesame allergy, which is tough in Japan. However, I showed my allergy card to the staff and they were very accommodating - no problem at all. There are some popular “instagram” spots in town, but please don’t fall for the hype and queue for hours - this place simply cannot be beaten and you will not be disappointed! The food, the staff and the atmosphere is 10/10 - an absolute MUST in Hiroshima! absolutely amazing hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with vegan mayo, vegan eggs, vegan meat, and vegan cheese 😍 probably my favourite food i've had in japan - so good we came back 2 nights in a row! the non-vegan version also reportedly incredible. the chef is lovely and it's super fun being able to watch him cook in front of you - he has it down to a fine art! couldn't recommend this place enough 😊 Hands down the best vegan food I've had in all of Japan. Little Okonomiyaki spot, I had a vegetarian version configured on basis of previous recipes and it was super tasty! Also the cook and cook’s support are both just a sweetheart and super polite. On top they accept contactless payments. Definitely a place to enjoy Okonomiyaki Hiroshima or Osaka style :-)
