Bushveld Terrace Restaurant is a true gem in Phalaborwa! The atmosphere is beautifully calm and blends perfectly with the surrounding bush, giving you that authentic safari feel while you dine. The menu offers a great selection of well-prepared meals, flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The waiters are very friendly and hardworking, always going the extra mile to make sure guests are comfortable and well taken care of. Their excellent service truly adds to the overall experience. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s always a relaxing and satisfying visit. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to unwind and enjoy great food in a serene setting. Highly recommended!

I had my Birthday Lunch here. The communication throughout was amazing and they were really helpful in assisting me book and choose meals for my guests. The service was 100/10. Very kind, patient staff. The food was amazing, they prepared the table for us, allowed us to bring cake and serve it for no extra charge. I had to tip properly though, because why not?! This is my favourite restaurant in Phalaborwa, and they never disappoint.

We went to the restaurant here after driving through Kruger and it was really amazing. Initially we weren't sure if the price was worth it (I'd say you need R200 - R300 per person), because we randomly decided to try them out for the first time ever and sometimes trying out new places can be disappointing. Not here. The food was fantastic, the service was great and I have no complaints at all. We didn't end up sleeping here since we were a few short hours from home, but I don't doubt that it would be a good idea.

We had a wonderful dinner on the lighted terrace with braziers lighting the driveway. My diet is awkward as I am intolerant of both gluten and dairy. The chef adapted the recipe for the Kingklip on a bed of risotto and the meal was superb. Each of our party enjoyed every element of the meal. We had an excellent meal on a moonlight evening on the edge of the Kruger Park!

Disappointed by restaurant. I wanted a light meal and spoke to the waitress about a Pizza. The menu only lists a multi topping spectacular for R185. Not wanting all of these toppings, I asked for a lighter option like a Margarita. She said she can make me a one, with the assumption that I was also a cheaper option. When the bill came I was in for a surprise as the budget pizza became the full multi topping price. The waitress pleading this is the only option and they did me a favour leaving the expensive toppings off. The manager made no attempt to come to any compromise around this blatant daylight robbery. What I thought was the waitress helping me turned into a very unpleasant memory of a place I ate well before. Very sad you treat customers like this.
