A lovely lovely restaurant in the middle of Kruger National park in Skukuza camp. Good varied menu, excellent portions, Incredible location looking over the river, and acceptable prices. I cannot recommend enough. I had the buffalo pie and my wife the impala (or some sort of Buck) salad. Both were amazing and we had no room for dessert. Only 4 star because at peak times the service is a little slow but I'm being picky. Check the food pics... If you get the chance to request a server, Rise and Shine is amazing! He literally ran out to greet us when we walked in at 7:30pm. He was very prompt and kept us laughing. He was a beam of light and told us about how much he loves working in the park. The food was also great- pictured is the garlic sirloin and the venison tray for 2.

A lovely lovely restaurant in the middle of Kruger National park in Skukuza camp. Good varied menu, excellent portions, Incredible location looking over the river, and acceptable prices. I cannot recommend enough. I had the buffalo pie and my wife the impala (or some sort of Buck) salad. Both were amazing and we had no room for dessert. Only 4 star because at peak times the service is a little slow but I'm being picky. Check the food pics...

If you get the chance to request a server, Rise and Shine is amazing! He literally ran out to greet us when we walked in at 7:30pm. He was very prompt and kept us laughing. A pretty cool place to dine in the heart of the park! The best part is the river view — we even saw a crocodile while waiting for our food. The food itself wasn’t the most flavorful, but considering the location, the prices were very reasonable. One downside was that we waited quite a long time for our meal, so don’t come too hungry or in a rush. Still, it’s a great spot to relax after a game drive and soak in the view.
