This place was an absolute delight. We ran into this place unintentionally. We were just browsing around in the afternoon. They welcomed us to check out the restaurant without ordering anything and showed us all the little unique gadget, just super welcoming. They then recommended us to check out the fall not too far from the restaurant. We went back later for dinner and the vibe got even better! Highly recommended, food was good, staff was great. We wanted to go back the next night but was too exhausted from our 8-hour Machu Picchuu hike. Ayahuasca Grill is a true hidden gem in Aguas Calientes. It is a little off the main path, but absolutely worth finding. My wife and I have been twice — once for drinks, and again for dinner — and both experiences were fantastic. We had the Caipirinhas on our first visit, which were perfectly balanced and refreshing after a long day of exploring. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next night for dinner. This time we tried their Pisco Sours (of course!) along with the trucha al limón (trout with lemon) and palta reina (avocado stuffed with chicken salad). Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We have gotten to know two of the waiters, Daniel and Felipe, who are both incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service they provide makes the experience even better. And Felipe — if you read this — Jaime says you look like Bad Bunny! (You really do.) If you are visiting Machu Picchu and want something authentic, relaxed, and just a little out of the way, Ayahuasca Grill is the place. Great food, great service, and a genuinely local vibe. Highly recommended. BTW, I asked Bad Bunny if he could get me tickets to the Super Bowl. Unfortunately, he could not, but we had an amazing time. Gringo approved! 👍🏻 The chicken chicharrones, drinks and steak were all amazing! All of the food was very tender and delicious. Everything was plated beautifully and there was no mention on the menu of a table side steak cooking rock with a torch and alcohol to set fire to it but it was an awesome surprise!

We had a wonderful dinner at this Restaurant. I can definitely recommend the Alpaca dishes there. The presentation was spectacular as you can see in the picture, and it tasted just as good!

What a positive surprise this place. We had beef on the stone, lomo saltado con tallarines ala huancaina, happy hour drink pisco and caipirinha. The food was outstanding, exceeded the expectations. Very good price for the quality, service and presentation of the place. Great small entertainment of boardgames :)
