Jay is a fantastic guy. Great service and helpful. We had the tomato soup, avocado to the queen and trilogia criolla. The food are great but we could not finish all due to the large portion. My wife loves the tomato soup and we came back for it. Hhh. The restaurant is located at a strategic place next to the local market facing the river, and the railway and road junction. You could watch trains go by. The view is great if you could climb to level 3 of the restaurant. The food was good. We ordered from the menu del dia card. There was some lack of communication. We had ordered a juice but then they brought out a second juice halfway through the meal and hadn’t communicated that a passion fruit comes with the meal. It was a lot of juice. Honestly it’s very mid in the low range of food. It’s eatable but nothing is "good", it lacks flavour, my rice was very dry and hard, it looks like it was left on the counter or it was old. The quesadillas were okay but again the taste isn’t great. We as well took a pizza and it’s very thin and they’re really cheap on the portions and the price is really high. All restaurants are overpriced here but we came because of the nice reviews and it doesn’t deserve a 4.8 stars AT ALL! It deserve at best 3.0 stars and that’s it. I think if you want a good restaurant you should look else where.

The grilled trout was great, but the chicken was undercooked and stayed undercooked after my request and additional "cooking" that took only a couple of minutes. It was a nice location to spend time before the train. In general, it is recommended, but not something special and great.

We shared the lomo saltdo de alpaca and a big beer after a morning at Machu Picchu. There was wonderful live music, a beautiful view, and David our waiter was so sweet.
