We went to dinner for our first wedding anniversary here after looking at some different options, and we loved our choice! The ambiance was nice with the candles at the table and dim lighting. Our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. He initially took a few minutes to get to us when we were first seated. It was a packed night where everyone table was full, but he apologized and gave us a free glass of champagne, which we very much appreciated! The food itself was exceptional, and the cocktail my husband ordered was also delicious. We very much enjoyed our experience and will be back when we come to Montreal next!

We had a dinner of selected appetizers and really enjoyed our meal; everything was good except 1 dish which they removed from our bill. *The Marcella salad was delicious, it had just the right mix of arugula, greens, dressing, candied pecans, etc. *My favorite was the bruschetta- they provide 4 long pieces with a perfect topping of tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, it was so good! And not only that, it sits on a bed of arugula which adds the right bit of spicy to the dish. This was just excellent! *Meatballs were good, sauce and flavors were there. *Fried calamari was delicious, tasted fresh and seasoned just right. *Eggplant parmigiana was a disappointment. It was drowning in sauce and when you got to the eggplant it was mushy. It was like there was breading that got mixed into the sauce and the eggplant had no good texture. I have to give kudos to our server who asked if everything was all right and I told her about this. She apologized and returned offering to switch it for something else. We didn’t want another appetizer so she just removed it and we got 2 desserts instead. Had she not asked, I would never had complained but would have left dissatisfied. She was excellent, the restaurant was excellent and overall this is a wonderful place to enjoy a good meal.

Staff were very kind and attentive, from the hostess seating us to our server to the cheese grating guy, we felt very taken care of. Ambience and vibes were all good. Music was good. Even though the place was packed we didn’t feel crammed in. Food wise, everything we ate was delicious! Calamari was the best we’ve had - not the crunchiest but still crunchy, best part was how well the squid itself was cooked! The red sauce dip accompanying it was steaming fresh and tasted good as well. I was recommended the daily special of the wheel pasta with braised beef, and that hit the spot! Did not shy off with the beef and everything was super tasty. My fiancée had the carbonara and she said it was a 10/10. Canolli’s for dessert was the perfect way to end the meal.

Went for my birthday, we got there around 9:30 pm so we hadn’t expected it to be busy so late but it was packed, even when we left a few minutes after closing. So id recommend making reservations. Luckily we got seats at the bar. Had a fizz that was great. Then the burrata with focaccia, which was excellent and arancini, which was pretty good. However the carbonara was not good. This is a dish I order frequently and have done at many restaurants. The dessert was great and the sparklers were a nice touch. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food apart from the pasta was quite good so I would go back and try something else.

42$ before tax and tips for 2 oz of COD fish ( yes I am not kidding lol), half a baby carrot and 2 bokchoys. After the meal, I saw a few reviews and I believe the special du jour is not that special, in fact it happens quite often. The pasta were quite mid, typical trouffle oil and parmesan cheese. I have had my fair share of melanzane and I was definitely not impressed. The service was friendly though. Would not recommend or go back for good food
