We tried the Japanese BBQ set for three and it was more than enough food we all left full. The grilling experience was fun, and the variety of meats kept it interesting. Some cuts were nicely marinated and tender, but overall still enjoyable once grilled properly. The side items (cheese, peppers, marinade foil-wrapped items like mushroom) added a nice change of flavour during the meal. Cooking everything at the table is part of the fun here, and the grill stays hot. The person who serves us guided us on time to cook each type of meat. That was very thoughtful. The highlight at the end was definitely the ice cream the matcha flavour was the clear winner at our table, but the vanilla and taro were good too. Service was friendly and quick, and the pacing between dishes worked well no waiting around. Would come back and maybe try a different meat selection next time. The food and service were excellent. The food was delicious. However, the music selection in the restaurant was poor. I wish they had music that was more in keeping with Japanese culture, the ambiance would be better. And the music was way too loud. Other than that, everything was great. The staff were very friendly, polite and patient. They explained every item how you grill them and they come to the table very often (no wait). I reduced one star just because the selection of meat wasn’t exactly to my taste. Some were really delicious some were a little fatty (not my favourite). We ordered combo, variety of meats (red, chicken, and shrimp). It also came with a dessert (s’more), but I didn’t like the dessert at all.

This was my first Korean BBQ experience. The food was okay, but it was fun to "cook" ourselves over the little grill. I had the shrimp and zucchini. I enjoyed the zucchini, and had no trouble cooking it. I was a little apprehensive about the shrimp because the grill is not particularly hot and I'm accustomed to flames when I'm grilling (ha... this is a personal preference) so I wasn't all that comfortable eating the shrimp. My husband and son enjoyed their meat lovers experience! We also had pina colada and lychee punch. This place is NOT for people who have food allergies as there is one grill per table.

The service was good when we were there for lunch. That's why it got 3 Stars. The lunch special could be a good deal for individual or 2 person at best due to single grill setup. We were 3 person today and we ordered 4 beef including an upgrade beef ribeye, 4 different porc and 1 chicken. You can skip the beef as the meat quality wasn't good and had a bitter taste, and gristle in all of them. The chicken thighs were thick and had a huge chunk of fat on them. They took the longest to cock and easiest got burned at the end if you did not pay attention to them. The salad was ok, had to skip a tomato that looked dicy with a few dark brown spots on it and the dressing was way too salty for Japanese style. Hope my review could help future customers.
