They make every onigiri fresh to order, and you can totally taste the difference! Soft rice, crispy nori, and generous fillings, and they’ve got such an extensive selection of flavours too🍙 The onigiri portion size is big (for me), me and my friend share 3 of the onigiris. The place itself is pretty small, so I wouldn’t recommend going in big groups. it’s perfect for a quick meal or a casual stop with one or two friends. The staff are super lovely! They even showed us how to turn our leftover onigiri rice into ochazuke (pouring tea or broth over it)😋 Appropriately hyped, these onigiri are massive and goated. Ordered salmon and salted roe, and marinated egg yolk and minced meat, and both were divine. We both loved the latter more - if we had stomach room we could've each had two more of those alone. I'd absolutely come back if I could and try the whole damn menu. Atmsophere gets 2 stars because we waited outside for take out and it stank of sewage, not how you want to set the tone for your meal. Came here due to the Instagram hype and there was a very long queue at 10:30am already before they started seated service at 11am. Eat in only has a few spots around the counter (hence the outrageous line). Takeaway was an option and because of the eat in line (2 separate queues for eat in vs takeaway), I opted for takeaway. Unfortunately service was still really slow and they also charge for boxes and carry bags. Didn’t get my food until 11:30-11:45am (~1 hour wait). I chose the staff recommended set (3 onigiri with miso soup and some pickled vegetables. Food wise, the onigiri was very filling (2 was enough for me and I saved the other for afternoon tea). I found the egg yolk quite salty and overall taste very rich/heavy, like it was lacking acidity to balance the flavours out. Overall, not worth the instagram hype and for the price, I would rather go for sushi.

The onigiri is delicious and fresh. Food wise is great. The problem is there’s too much people queuing which might tamper the experience. A recommendation is that separate the queue to eat inside and takeout. Would streamline the ordering and for people who just want to takeout.

I guess I was lucky but this was the shortest queue I’ve been in since I landed in Japan😅 I reached at around 2pm, and my order (take away) took less than 10m. The onigiri size is decent and the taste was good ! My favourite was the minced meat and egg yolk one, the cheese and chicken had an aftertaste I didn’t really enjoy (hence the 4 🌟). Regardless I’ll be back again 😁 どうもありがとうございますErika for the great Onigiris 🤭👌🏾
