When the lady answered her phone whilst leading me to my seat, I could not have been more shocked and disrespected. The service from the waiters was lovely (although at one point they cleared some plates from a course I was still eating ??) and it was delightful to meet the chef. Food was also tasty but I don’t think I was hungry enough to fully appreciate it. Unfortunately there is no coming back from such a “welcome”. I would never return.

Pierre Gagnaire à Seoul is a fine dining restaurant serving french haute cuisine. There is only one set menu. The foods were all of high quality. The starters consisted of many small portion dishes prettily presented, but to me they lost in the meaning. You can hardly identify the ingredients, the quantity was so little and the overwhelming sauce took over the taste. Only after I had the baby lobster and the hanwoo beef, I appreciated what had been presented. Service was first class.

I think the food is more asian taste than French taste … a little bit too much for French . Everything else is excellent.

It's a very top notch dining experience. The food was excellent, and their suggested pairings of wine and champagne were spot on. I never wanted for anything, as the service was impeccable. They would check on me before I even realized I needed something, but never too often. The view was absolutely stunning as well, and the atmosphere is exceptional. It's dark but not too dark, and very quiet but not still. It's extremely, extremely expensive, but absolutely enjoyable. It's a luxurious experience.
