I have been several times here over the years. The view from the restaurant in the 37th floor is wonderful; service is very competent and friendly. I have made different experiences with the quality of the food. This restaurant is good on seafood and Cantonese cuisine. If you know this and avoid dishes like what is called beijing duck but has nothing to do whatsoever with that dish you will not be disappointed. This time I had an excellent crab meat soup and splendid dim sum. It was a very satisfying experience and I finished my evening with coffee in the lobby bar in beautiful surroundings and with nice live music.

Toh Lim restaurant at Lotte Hotel Seoul. The hotel has a variety of upscale restaurants of different international cuisines; Toh Lim is the Chinese variant. The restaurant was deemed the best amongst all the other ones and has it’s own Michelin approval. The presentation was beautiful but the place is so empty 😓 we came in at around 8:30pm and there were only 2 other parties. I loved the service tho, the waitresses were always there and they are super nice even tho English wasn’t great. Try the watermelon dessert, that flower is edible ☺️ the view is also pretty cool, it was raining when we got there but you can see the mountain and the Myeong-dong neighborhood 😎

Good service, but this place is just too hot, period. Had dinner at a private room where AC was very feeble and guests were sweating. According to the restaurant, the AC was on full blast.
