Had so much fun coming in with family & enjoying a meal! Love that everything is intended for sharing & family style (the way the best food always is!) All around great food, and fantastic service. The two dishes that really wow'ed the whole group were the sweet potato & the NY strip tar tar! Really fresh, tasty, and unexpected! We were also pleasantly surprised by the frijoles paired with sourdough tortillas! The texture & flavor profile of the tortillas was almost akin to a prata or dosa. So good! We tried nearly everything on the menu save for about 4 things. Of the seafood dishes, the hamachi was fantastic!! The pineapple puree is a symphony. The mushroom quesadilla surprisingly outshone the enchilada for us! The birria was fall-off-the-bone, not too salty, and had a wonderfully acidic but fatty broth. It's at a great price point for a one star establishment- making it much more accessible for anyone to try a few plates without breaking the bank on a pre fixe!

The most amazing meal we’ve ever had! We were able to get here right at 4pm on a Saturday and got a table inside until 5:15pm since we didn’t make reservations. Our server, Jonathan, was so personable and knowledgeable. The service, food, and experience overall was beyond expectation. We ordered the sweet potato, the short rib, and the lamb shank. We would consider coming back to visit Colorado just to experience this again! Thank you for being a highlight of our weekend visiting Denver!

I don't know if words can describe the tantalizing way in which this food satisfies your taste buds, but hopefully this opening sentence takes you there! Everything was perfectly plated, seasoned, and served. Plus, the happy hour menu offerings are amazing! Get the chille relleno, you'll thank me later!! You can always tell a good restaurant by their margaritas. Alma serves up one of the finest, smooth but potent! We sat outside on a gorgeous day - friends, excellent food, strong drinks, perfect weather... need I say more?! Go, be merry, enjoy!

I recently dined at Alma Fonda Fina in Denver, and it was a truly exceptional experience. This Michelin-starred restaurant delivers a polished and immersive dining experience. The atmosphere is refined yet comfortable, with warm tones, soft lighting, and thoughtful design that make it welcoming and elevated at the same time. I started with their signature avocado margarita, which was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced — one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had. The aguachile melted in my mouth, bright, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, and the birria was both flavorful and beautiful, served with fresh tortillas and bold, rich flavors. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the pacing of the meal was perfect. Because it’s popular and tightly curated, reservations can be tricky, so plan ahead. Would I go back? Absolutely — especially for another avocado margarita and more birria. If you’re looking for elevated Mexican cuisine in Denver with the distinction of a Michelin star, this is a must-visit.

walked in on a Thursday night and were able to get a spot outside, which was absolutely lovely! Great service and a really delicious menu. The quesadilla was delicious but as a vegetarian, I wish there were a couple more options. The margarita was pretty standard fare. It was good, but I should’ve branched out to some of their more adventurous house cocktails. however, the complementary Mexican sparkling wine at the end of the meal did help a little bit with that ;) The interior was really lovely as well. The bathrooms are stocked with mouthwash and all sorts of products you might need which is a fun perk. Overall this was an excellent experience and I will definitely come back next time. I am in Denver.
