Ok listen. I've been vegan for nearly 11 years. This place is THE holy grail and standard for any plant-based restaurant. The food is off the charts, the service is excellent, the staff are all so cool, and in the decade I've been dragging friends & family here we've not once had a bad meal. "This is vegan?!" is a question I get asked every time. The consistency, quality, atmosphere, and people simply make this one of the best restaurants in the world. We're so lucky Denver has a spot that feels like it was plucked straight from the village in NYC. A truly, indisputably, iconic institution. Our goto each time we come to Denver. Vegan heaven! Great food, large portions, great service. Our faves are the seitan wings with both bbq and buffalo sauce, the. Bbq mac wrap, the buffalo wrap (see pics). Breakfast here is always amazing as well! A vegan's dream. The food is amazing, service is quick and friendly, and atmosphere is chill. A must: the SARDOU is off the charts. The sauce, omg, the sauce! And the crispy potatoes. Died and gone to heaven with this dish. It's a must. A close second is the chicken and waffles. The soft serve vanilla ice cream was on our list, but we were stuffed after the meal. The group next to us got the ice cream and said it was fantastic. They do eggs and dairy cheese upon request, so if you have others going with you who just can't skip those things, trust me, this place is one of those that is awesome whether vegan or not.

Our goto each time we come to Denver. Vegan heaven! Great food, large portions, great service. Our faves are the seitan wings with both bbq and buffalo sauce, the. Bbq mac wrap, the buffalo wrap (see pics). Breakfast here is always amazing as well!

A vegan's dream. The food is amazing, service is quick and friendly, and atmosphere is chill. A must: the SARDOU is off the charts. The sauce, omg, the sauce! And the crispy potatoes. Died and gone to heaven with this dish. It's a must. A close second is the chicken and waffles. The soft serve vanilla ice cream was on our list, but we were stuffed after the meal. The group next to us got the ice cream and said it was fantastic. Our visit ever. One of the people in our group is gluten-free. So we chose this location. The vibe is incredible. Unlike most anything you’ve experienced. Move over Austin Denver is the new weird. lol. Service is incredible. Food is on point and for those that don’t like vegan vegetarian or gluten-free foods. I promise you this food is flavorful and you’ll never know the difference. Waffles are off the chart. Chicken fried cauliflower is a thing here. And it’s awesome. We will be back soon. If you’re looking for a great vibe, great food and desserts. This is a spot you have to try. Support local.

City O’ City is incredible, truly the best vegan food we’ve ever had! If we could pack this place up and bring it back home to Minnesota, we would in a heartbeat. The breakfast burrito is legendary. It’s the size of a small child (no joke!) and every single bite is bursting with flavor. Perfectly balanced, hearty, and beyond satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the mocha latte; smooth, rich, and just the right amount of chocolatey goodness. The atmosphere is laid-back and artsy, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We’re already dreaming about our next trip to Denver so we can eat here again. City O’ City, please open a location in Minnesota — we need you!
