Every dish feels carefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and bold, balanced flavours. Portions are generous but never heavy, and the presentation is beautiful without being pretentious. Service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. The staff know the menu well and are happy to recommend wines or dishes based on your taste. The wine list itself is thoughtfully curated, with some excellent Greek options you don’t often find in the UK. Prices are fair for the quality, making Ella a perfect choice for a relaxed dinner, a date night, or even a special occasion. Amazing food and amazing people. The people that served us (shoutout to Martin and Marv!!!) were so lovely and made the experience 10x better. This was our first night in Edinburgh after a long, stressful day of travel and they turned the night around. The food was delicious as well. We enjoyed a few tapas, the lamb chops and chicken gyro, and some lovely whisky and wine. I would come here again in a heartbeat! Ella is an authentic greek restaurant, food was fresh, portions were generous and service was friendly and efficient! I would highly recommend a visit if you are fond of Greek/Mediterranean food. You are probably to find here the best chicken gyros in Edinburgh. I also loved the atmosphere it was cozy and welcoming. We will define coming back!

Amazing food and amazing people. The people that served us (shoutout to Martin and Marv!!!) were so lovely and made the experience 10x better. This was our first night in Edinburgh after a long, stressful day of travel and they turned the night around. The food was delicious as well. Ella is an authentic greek restaurant, food was fresh, portions were generous and service was friendly and efficient! I would highly recommend a visit if you are fond of Greek/Mediterranean food. You are probably to find here the best chicken gyros in Edinburgh. I also loved the atmosphere it was cozy and welcoming. We will define coming back!

We came for a small bite to eat and we were greeted by the nicest staff. We got the friend cheese for an appetizer and the lamb chops. Both were so fresh and amazing! The owner and servers were so friendly and attentive.

We booked a table for two on Monday night and this place was quite buzzing and full. We got our table on time and were seated. We had a gyros wrap and cheesy kofte wrap. Both were fresh and delicious. Good service and atmosphere. Tables are quite close to each other. Cosy vibes. Good prices.
