Visited NMR's Uptown during lunchtime, and as expected, it was very crowded. However, the waiting area had proper seating arrangements, which made the wait manageable. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, with a good number of dining seats and a comfortable ambience. Food Experience: Chicken Cream Soup: Just average — nothing memorable. Hot and Sour Soup: A major disappointment — it had only a strong sauce-like taste with no real depth or balance of flavors. Blue Lagoon Mojito: Another letdown. The taste was off — we managed to drink it, but it wasn’t enjoyable. Mutton Biriyani: Highly overhyped. It was slightly salty and underwhelming overall — not something a true foodie would order again. The accompaniment served with it seemed like a failed attempt at biriyani dalcha but ended up tasting more like sambar, and not in a good way. Beef Fajita: This was the standout dish — flavorful, well-cooked, and worth trying. Pricing & Service: Most items felt overpriced for the taste offered. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the ambience was pleasant and roomy. Overall Verdict: If you're visiting, it might be better to explore items other than biriyani. While the setting and service are commendable, the food does not always justify the price — except for a few hits like the beef fajita.

One of the best restaurant in Palakkad, the quantity, quality and the taste of the food was awesome. I were visited this place 3 times 1st with family and it was a wonderful time and other two times with my friends (I have recommended this place to them by my previous experience from here) we're tasted NMR chicken biriyani, Mexican alpham, various types of Nans, porotta etc. and all are best in class quality. But during the last visit we got a uncleaned and un washed tumbler for serving drinking water, this will be somewhat disappointing, please be some more concious about the cleanliness of the cutlery. Otherwise everything was fine,

Easily the best biriyanis I have had in a long time. Both the NMR Chicken Biriyani and the Kozhikkoden Mutton Biriyani were absolutely lip smacking. The flavours were spot on and the Chicken and the Mutton were cooked to perfection. We also a serving of Ghee Rice and the Travancore Chicken Fry. Both were awesome but the Travancore Chicken Fry blew our minds. The service was great. The owner of the restaurant kept checking with his customers including us on how the food and the service were, which is top class service. The ambience is great, quite spacious. There is about a 30 min+ wait time, but enough space in the waiting area for a ton of people. Plenty of parking too in their parking lot near the restaurant. Overall, an excellent restaurant. Highly recommended for visitors and residents of Palakkad!

We recently dined at nmr, and the experience was exceptional! The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. We started with the Porotta Beef Roast and Chilly Chicken as starters, and they were absolutely fantastic.The beef roast was tender and flavorful.The porotta was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, The Chilly Chicken was spicy and tangy, with a great balance of flavors. The chicken was cooked to perfection, Both dishes were incredibly delicious and the mini falooda was too refreshing ….it was great way to end our dinner……Highly recommend this place❤️❤️

We ordered the NMRS mutton biryani, and it was absolutely delicious! The mutton soup, however, stole the show – it was the highlight of our day. To top it off, we treated ourselves to falooda and refreshing mint tea. The overall experience was phenomenal, and we had an amazing time. Can't wait to come back.
