Visited Chef Pillai mainly for the much-hyped Fish Nirvana – fish lovers will definitely enjoy it, with the rich coconut milk flavor standing out. Service was really good with proper follow-up. The ambience is classy with warm lighting and modern interiors, making the dining experience more pleasant. Overall, good food, great service, and a nice setup – worth trying at least once.

One of the biggest disappointments. It’s nowhere near the hype. Their prestigious ‘Nirvana’ completely failed to meet expectations. The raw mango fish curry was pathetic — there was no real mango flavor in it but had malabar tamarind taste. The ‘Pal Konju’ was just okay. I expected the prices to be high, but at least hoped for a modestly good food experience. Sadly, it failed miserably.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a really wonderful experience. The food was excellent, especially the Nirvana dish which truly stood out. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience wholesome and memorable. However, one small concern I had was during the billing process. The payment was shown through a QR code linked to what looked like a personal account. This felt a little unprofessional and confusing, especially since we recently had fraud incidents in our state through changed QR codes. For a reputed chain, I believe payments should be routed through official business accounts to ensure trust and safety for customers. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend the restaurant for its food and hospitality, but I hope the management will look into making the payment process more professional and secure.

We tried the Fish Nirvana, Beef Vazayilla polichathu, Prawn pal konju, Chicken Biriyani and Nool parotta - Everything was top notch! Highly recommend a visit! And.. not to forget the Sambharam Pani puri !😋

This was the dish I was eagerly waiting to try, and I must say I am completely satisfied with the taste! The Nirvana was absolutely worth it — rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Unexpectedly, I also tried the Venad Paal Konju, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The flavors just exploded in my mouth, unlike anything I’ve ever tasted before.
