Had a wonderful dining experience here. The tasting menu was very unique and thoughtfully uses as many local and seasonally ingredients as possible. Everything was presented beautifully and delicious. The ambiance was rustic and cozy with windows overlooking the sea. Staff were very down to earth and friendly. One of best dining experiences we've had in Norway. My mum and I stayed at Holmen Lofoten in July 2025, and we had the most wonderful time. There are lots of places to stay in Lofoten and I am so grateful that I picked this hotel. It is a beautiful spot, in a great location. The breakfasts were gorgeous, the staff were lovely, the tasting menu was a fantastic experience. We HIGHLY recommend the guided walk offered by Holmen, it made our trip. Great hotel to stay at, close to the action of both A and Reine but still tucked away just far enough to have a relaxing stay. We had a welcoming and friendly check in along with great hiking recommendations from Havar. Nice hotel rooms, and the breakfast was beyond expectations! Would highly recommend staying here.

My mum and I stayed at Holmen Lofoten in July 2025, and we had the most wonderful time. There are lots of places to stay in Lofoten and I am so grateful that I picked this hotel. It is a beautiful spot, in a great location. The breakfasts were gorgeous, the staff were lovely, the tasting menu was a fantastic experience. We HIGHLY recommend the guided walk offered by Holmen, it made our trip.

Great hotel to stay at, close to the action of both A and Reine but still tucked away just far enough to have a relaxing stay. We had a welcoming and friendly check in along with great hiking recommendations from Havar. Nice hotel rooms, and the breakfast was beyond expectations! Would highly recommend staying here.

Recently stayed at Holmen and had a really great time here. It is a place where you can truly relax in beautiful surroundings, the room was thoughtfully designed with everything you need, comfortable bed and nice powerful shower. Breakfast is done in a slightly different way and provided in a number of courses rather than a buffet; a really interesting approach and allowed us to try a number of different options, which were all great and full of flavour. I appreciated the attention to detail for the breakfast service, food is presented really well and the service is relaxed and very friendly. Loved our time here, all staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything you need, we will return as soon as we can for another stay!

Such a beautiful place, with an atmosphere that makes you want to stay there forever! I have visited Holmen 3 times over the last 4 years and want to keep coming back. Dinner and breakfast are also by far the best out there in the Lofoten islands.
