The room we stayed for one night was old and obviously do not have recent maintenance. 1. The bathroom and toilet are in the same tiny room which makes the floor all got wet after shower even we put on the dirty shower curtain. The toilet paper will also get wet easily during shower. 2. The hot water and cold water tap was very old design and difficult to handle 3. The hair dryer was small, sticky and broken 4. No socket inside the bedroom for charging. 5. The bed linen was dirty which some bugs, dust and hair found on pillows 6. A spider web was noted on the corner of the floor behind the door, which showed insufficient cleaning 7. The shower was dripping when we just checked-in and we do not notice the washroom floor was wet, we step on the water accidentally and make the room floor got wet 8. The WiFi is not function as very low signal in the house. The reception was nice and the restaurant looks good. Hope to give more maintenance over the cabin rather than just the reception and restaurant. Unfortunate the restaurant was not available during my stay and I cannot taste the good here.

This is a gem of a property! The location - right on the beach - is heavenly. My cabin was beautifully appointed - coffee maker, cups, plates, utensils and cookware were all exactly perfect. They even had a cutting board. The bed was sublimely comfortable! It was so lovely to fall asleep to the gently sound of the water. The living area was cozy, in the best sense of the word, with windows that looked out on the water. When I go back - and I absolutely will - I can't wait to try the restaurant. It has great reviews but unfortunately, when I arrived in late October, the restaurant was closed for the season. Finally, I appreciated how available and responsive the owner of the property was; I had to make a small change to my reservation and he was fantastic to work with.

Look no further, give this place a try. This was the best restaurant food experience we had in 2 weeks in Lofoten after trying most of the nice sit-down restaurants near Leknes and Scolvær. Food was made fresh, taste was exquisite and packed with flavor. The restaurant is co-owned by a family-run fishing business so you get fresh seafood at this place. The Grenadier fish was the best we have ever tried. They may not have it all the time so worth to ask! It's a deep sea fish not commonly caught. Prices are in line with other sit-down restaurants in Norway. So we think reviews that say this is "overpriced" may be missing the point as these are standard/average prices in Norway. (They pay their people fairly here unlike back home in the US relying on tips - sad but true) We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, Ingar. He was very friendly, and deeply knowledgeable about his menu and the lovely islands he calls home. Since it was near closing time we had the privilege of having a nice conversation with him and learn a few things about locals. We hope to meet him again when we come back!

Best meal we had in Lofoten. Place is cozy and newly refurbished with a stunning view and the food is out of this world. We had Grenadiers fish, best I ever tasted and Lambshank that was super delicious. Very attentive service makes this experience an absolute joy. Highly recommended.
