This is the only restaurant I ate twice during my 4 days and 3 nights in Lofoten. The food was served quickly and the quality was stable and fresh! The staff was friendly and very good at recommending the menu👍 Spent three consecutive evenings having dinner at this Chinese restaurant in Svolvaer owned by a Hong Kong native. Although we didn't have the chance to meet the owner, we got to know the staff—a beauty from Argentina, a tall brother from Guangxi, and a nice auntie from Xiamen. They were incredibly friendly, the dinner was delicious, and our conversations were very enjoyable. Coming from Hong Kong, it's unlikely that we'll return to this country or place in the near future, but I am delighted to have met them and had such pleasant chats with them over these three days. The service part has to be improved, unfortunately they don’t know a thing about hospitality. The waiter there act like they are doing you a favour when they are taking your order. They make weird faces ( the weird middle aged lady) when asked about description of dishes on the menu. All they care about is what ‘number?’. Food is strictly below average. The only palatable thing was the rice. The meat and vegetable used seemed to be stale. Traveled for three weeks in Norway with 10 days in the north, This Restaurant is the only bad experience. Highly DONOT recommended. You are better off eating instant noodles. Trust me.

Had a disappointing experience at Nihao Lofoten. We arrived around 8:30pm hoping to dine in, but were told it was fully booked—even though the place didn’t look full. We decided to order takeaway instead, but unfortunately, the food was really underwhelming. The flavors just weren’t there, and the quality didn’t match the expectations at all. Combined with the poor service, it ended up being a letdown overall. Rating: 2/5
