Main dishes were great, and the highlight for me was the Qidra camel meat. It was full of flavour, cooked really well, and easily the standout of the meal. The service was excellent throughout, quick and professional. The only small drawback were both the salads. Both had an unusual, hard to describe taste that wasn’t pleasant for me. Overall I’d happily return for the mains and would choose different salads next time.

During my recent visit to Petra, I had the pleasure of dining at the Bedouin House Restaurant, an experience that truly reflected the essence of Bedouin hospitality. The restaurant offers an authentic atmosphere and a rich selection of traditional Jordanian dishes, all beautifully prepared and presented. The mansaf and freshly baked bread were exceptional, and the service was warm and professional. I would like to extend special appreciation to Mr. Yousef Shamaseen for his kindness and for sharing fascinating insights into Bedouin culture and traditions. The ambiance of the restaurant perfectly captures the spirit of Petra, combining comfort, authenticity, and genuine hospitality, making it one of the most memorable parts of my visit.

Mohammed took care of us and made us feel very welcome and at home. He is very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious at a fair price. We will definitely come back again for dinner!

We had some traditional dishes. Lamb kofte in clay pot and lamb mansaf, and tahini salad. The mains were 10-12JD each and the salads about 3JD. Lovely food and hosts who chatted to us with a mint tea. And as a follow up we couldn’t finish the generous serves so has the leftovers today and they were delicious too!

Very delicious food, we ordered Qidra with camel meat and it was amazing. Gallayeh with meat has very tasty tomato broth. And lastly, Baha the waiter is very good and provides very good service
