Very good and sophisticated dishes, in an atypical setting. Great atmosphere and service. Special mention to the smoked duck breast and the Old-Bohemian piquant wild game ragout which were delicious. Also nice wine and liquors from Czechia. Perfect for a date. I booked this place well in advance for my husband’s 40th birthday celebration, a special occasion that I wanted to make memorable. Before coming to Prague, I researched local restaurants and learned that most menus are very meat-heavy. As I’m vegetarian and my husband is vegan, I made a request in the reservation for two vegetarian options, one with cheese as he occasionally makes exceptions for eggs. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very professional server and offered two complimentary glasses of champagne, which was a nice gesture. However, when we asked about the vegetarian options mentioned in our booking, we were shown one page of a large menu with just two vegetarian dishes — both containing cheese, so none were suitable for my husband. They then provided a vegan menu, but it offered only one option per course. We ended up choosing those, but unfortunately, the food was quite ordinary and not particularly special. Additionally, I had arranged with the lady who took my booking for a birthday cake to be prepared, but it never arrived. The final bill was surprisingly high, even for Prague, and the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. While the view of the city is lovely, you can enjoy similar views from many other spots. Sadly, aside from that, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Carpaccio was very tasty and tender. Crayfish soup was also tasty. Aperol was sour. For dessert I chose sorbet and it was delicious. Pleasant service and atmosphere, convenient location in the city center. Of the minuses, the cost of food and it is still advisable to book a table in advance.

An absolute must-visit in Prague! The setting is stunning, warm and unique. The service was impeccable, attentive from start to finish. And the food… simply outstanding! Beautifully presented, full of flavor, and made with high-quality ingredients. Highly recommend!

We had a superb experience. The food was exquisite. The man looking after us was charming, attentive but never intrusive, and funny. The atmosphere of eating in an old bell tower, surrounded by solid wood and warm candlelight, was pleasant and romantic. The price for the quality and quantity of food and drink was completely reasonable. Well worth a visit. Our only regret is that we were so full from the delicious appetizers and mains that we didn’t have space for the alluring desserts. I guess we’ll have to go back on our next visit to Prague. ;)
