Tapas right at home! One of the few places that does not close down for siesta and how lucky were we for that. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table, but it was understandable since the place is quite small and we were 4 people. The salmon dish was truly one of the best salmon pieces we have ever had. To top it all, the steak was a flavor bomb, perfectly cooked as medium rare. There was also a spicy bowl with noodles, rich for the palate and very nicely done. The dishes come in two sizes, and we had the plateau one for all of them. The apple desert was extremely delicious and home made! Definitely worth a shot. The chocolate pana cota was pretty standard, but otherwise tasty. Good, authentic food. We recommend this place as a must for in-between visits!

We went to La Bartola twice during our visit to Seville because the tapas were just that good. The food truly lives up to all the great reviews. Our favourites were the calamares con mayonesa cítrica (calamari with citrus mayo), the baby squid, and the Ternera Retinta con papas al horno (local beef with roasted potatoes). Everything was perfectly cooked, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. Portions are generous for tapas, and the menu offers a great variety without feeling overwhelming. Overall, one of the best tapas experiences we had in Seville. Highly recommend!

Had a delicious lunch at La Bartola. Lucky to get a table after only 5 minutes. Best tapas we have had so far on our trip. The food was full of flavours and very well prepared and presented. Great wine selection. The service was efficient and friendly even though it was very busy. Very good value for the money. We had the aubergine, zucchini, pork cheek and lamb tapas. Together with some wine, sangria and sherry we left the place very satisfied and in a good mood. Highly recommended!

This place is literally a diamond 💎 in the rough. Please come here and enjoy Spain’s culture with wonderful food and drinks. The place is small but the wait is well worth it. The bar itself is so intimate and comforting. The Carrillada Iberica & the Pulpo a la Brasa (beef cheeks cheese stew & grilled octopus) is SO delicious. The staff are excellent with their service and general warmth. You will feel welcome here. Tell your friends and family, bring everybody for this slice of a delicious experience.

Highly recommend a visit to La Bartola if you're looking for the best tapas in Seville. There was a queue when we arrived but they were all for larger tables so we were lucky to get two window seats immediately. Every dish we ordered was delicious and perfectly portioned. There's an underground car park about a 3 minute walk away and make sure to take a ramble in the park beside the car park while you're there!
