We had an absolutely fabulous waiter, Michele, who made our first night in Florence even more enjoyable. His descriptions of the food, his attentiveness to all his patrons and his attitude were fantastic. The place is so charming (we were there when it was light and then when it was dark...how they light it is so beautiful). Our entrees and even the side dishes were absolutely delicious. We will be back!

Bruschetta was just ok. Was a bit dry, and missing any seasoning. The Tartufo pasta was fantastic- as you’d expect with this dish. Note: it is not a large portion. Fine for us but if you are really hungry, get an appetizer or split a second dish. The Boar pasta was very flavorful and the pasta was perfect. We had the chocolate Panna Cota. Not very good - chocolate sauce was generic and the Panna Cota was not as smooth as expected. I’d recommend a different dessert.

One of better pastas in Italy. Papperdelle Al ragu boar. Dare I say best?? Florentine Steak was tender but not crazy flavoring wise but may just be a steak thing? Appetizer of artichoke flan and burrata fondue was really tasty! Vibes of place were immaculate. So cozy! Into evening they turned out the lights for candle lit dinner was lovely!! Our server Michele was really friendly and amazing~ learned some more Florence lore through him. Glad we came here for our sit down meal in Florence. Limoncello shots were tasty 👀Vibes were great and food was good. Service was amazing! Did a selfie with Michele but will allow him his privacy heh. Best and friendliest service of our whole trip!! Grazie mille!!! Fond memory to look back upon

The food here was honestly some of the best I had during my entire holiday. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and felt like it had been prepared with real care. The bruschetta stood out straight away perfectly crisp bread topped with fresh, juicy tomatoes and just the right balance of seasoning. It was simple but absolutely spot on. The carbonara was another highlight; rich and creamy without being too heavy, and the pasta itself was cooked perfectly. To finish, the dessert was a real treat, light, tasty, and the perfect way to round off the meal. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. They really added to the atmosphere and made us feel welcome. Yes, this place is located in a busy tourist area, but the food and the service both proved that it’s far from being a typical “tourist trap.” Everything felt authentic, genuine, and worth the money. I left really impressed and would recommend it to anyone looking for a proper meal in the area.

Amazing restaurant and food. The wild boar ragu was delicious. The atmosphere was great and staff were really friendly and attentive. Wine was great and got a limoncello on the house. Thoroughly recommend. Reservations definitely needed
