A great date night restaurant. The ambience and service was amazing. Talking about food everything we ordered was really good. I was surprised the portion sizes were really nice as when i looked at the prices it did seem a bit pricey and thought the portion sizes were going to be tiny. The highlight was the steak tartare i could easily have 2 by myself it was that good. I just felt the prices of the drinks being 24$ were expensive along side food aprox 25-30$ from smaller to medium plates.

We had the most amazing experience at light years for lunch. The staff were so helpful at explaining the dishes and how many they would reccomend for your party size. The atmosphere was also amazing. For food we got the pickle plate, edamame, miso caramel eggplant (stand out dish), tofu san choy bow (stand out dish) and the watermelon salad (stand out dish). Everything was amazing, perfectly curated and a good portion size. The miso caramel eggplant felt so comforting and I would recommend to everyone. We finished off with the miso caramel banoffe tart which was divine and the perfect balance of sweetness. We left feeling amazing! Will definetly be returning.

We chose Light Years for lunch to celebrate my son’s baptism with our dear family and friends. The food and service did not disappoint. We loved the selection provided in the menu. The staff were friendly and very quick too. We’ll definitely come back here and try their other menu selections.

Light years is a great restaurant to give something different a go. The overall restaurant look and feel is fresh and vibrant. Service was prompt and seamless & the bar staff were full of personality! Drinks came out in funky cups and with innovative garnishes I.e. salted caramel popcorn in the Netflix and chill cocktail! We ordered a few small, medium and large plates at the recommendation of the waitress and all food was fresh and flavourful - highly recommend Light Years and I would definitely go there again!

Had an amazing dinner at Light Years with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious with a great mix of options for both vegans and meat lovers, everyone found something they enjoyed. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The surprise birthday cake at the end was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special! It is on the pricier side, but the quality of the food and experience is absolutely worth it. Would definitely go back again for occasions!
