Stayed in the city for a few days and had quite a few dining options on out list but ended up eating here most days. That should speak for itself how much we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We sat outdoors and up the stairs around the corner. Which was perfect for us to be able to have conversation without too much noise. Food was delicious and polite staff. Perfect spot on a sunny day dining outside with cold beers in hand. Food and service were great too. $27 for some beaten up lettuce and a boiled egg - went in on my lunch break and ordered the Caesar salad. I’ve had a great one at another AusVenueCo pub so figured it would be similar. Nope. The saddest plate of bottom-of-the-crisper lettuce with barely a scrape of dressing, 6 small croutons and a couple of bits of bacon. Egg was good with jammy yolk but honestly it wasn’t even seasoned. Just a sad bowl of lettuce for $27. Might stick to drinks only here from now on.

$27 for some beaten up lettuce and a boiled egg - went in on my lunch break and ordered the Caesar salad. I’ve had a great one at another AusVenueCo pub so figured it would be similar. Nope. Had the Boerie Roll and it was fantastic! Very friendly service from the staff, great atmosphere on the outside terrace and was very comfortable on a winter evening. Long Island iced tea was also fabulous!

We moved 3 weeks ago from the uk to Australia and other than missing family we've struggled to find a good roast , today we went to the globe for the Christmas in July roast and it was amazing the server Maisie was fab we was stuck in traffic and for parking which made us late and she was great this is now our new local and we would definitely recommend this place there was also live music in the courtyard
