Walked in on a weekday afternoon with no wait time. Upper floor was quite empty. Almost every item on the menu has a starter/main entree size option. Prices are definitely not cheap and could be seen as reasonable as per Swiss standards. I was particularly impressed with my beef fillet steak. It was cooked medium rare as I requested. The meat was tender and juicy, paired exceptionally well with the porcini mushrooms.

The reality is it’s Zurich, in a Historical building, in the area located just 100m from the Rolex shop and Balenciaga. The thing that “justifies” any price is service and quality of goods. So now that I have the price valued people out of the way, let’s talk to people who just love a good experience and food without needing a price point to decide where and what to eat. This place is beautifully “cliche’ European Italian. Friendly staff, conversations and jokes with my as I’m a big man where always coming. Along with bread to enjoy their wonderful olive oil until my dish was ready. I had the Waygu Ragu with the pasta I still mess up pronouncing but when you see it, you’ll know it and I more the recommend getting it. Flavor explosion! A lot of times Italian restaurants can be tourist traps and mockery of Italian food to appease Germanic people, the bastardized version of carbonara for example, using cream bacon bits and Parmesan. Not here, this food and all the other plates I saw in my time of my meal look not just delicious and well plated but also well portioned. This is a thick udon styled pasta that was cooked perfectly Al Dente, It absorbed the sauce and made for a very enjoyable experience. I’ll come here again when I visit Zurich and it will be the place I’ll eat all my meals at until I’ve had everything on the menu.

My go-to restaurant! One of my absolute favourite places to enjoy a lovely lunch or take my family out for a wonderful dinner — and everyone loves it here. Cantinetta Antinori has that cosy, classic Italian charm that pairs perfectly with their delicious food. The service team is always delightful; a special thanks to Giovanni and the team for their consistently warm hospitality. We’ll be back very soon for another family reunion dinner!

We recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at Cantinetta Antinori in Zurich and I can't say enough about it. The room was busy and vibrant but we were seated promptly and had wonderful, professional and friendly service. We ate our way through a tasting of delicious appetizers, a series of pastas and main dishes. Not a bad bite the entire time. The truffles were amazing and they offered generous portions. and the veal chop was perhaps the best I've had. The wine list, deep in Antinori offerings, offers some wonderful aged wines and very, very fair pricing. We took advantage an enjoyed a few special bottles. An absolutely amazing meal all told. I must also commend the wonderful service of Porfirio who really made it a very special night - I'm not sure we've had better service in Zurich. Grazie mille! Bravo!!

Being Italian, I always hesitate to go to Italian restaurants when I’m abroad - but this one is on another level! Loved the warm welcome, the attention received from the staff and the ambiance. Food was super tasty and high quality too. Def recommend and will come back for sure
