Iconic vegetarian restaurant in the city. Splitted between a buffet self-service on the first floor and and normal restaurant on the second floor. Very large choices, from simple salads 🥗 to various grains. Plenty of fruits on offer. Alcohol and other beverages complete the offer. Service is welcoming and friendly. Being vegetarian we had to try this place in Zurich. Oldest Vegeterian restaurant in the world and what unique is serving dishes from different cusines across the world! The people were friendly and very accommodating! Definitely recommend this place if you are in Zurich! I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! Let’s start with a single con : the price is pretty darn high; for being a tourist I can imagine it’s tough for most since most countries don’t have a high wage such as Switzerland. We went here on a date visiting Zürich for the first time and wow it was mouth watering and delicious! Personally I’m not a vegetarian but my girlfriend is and I always support her and we have vegetarian days, this meal was full of incredible flavors and actually made me feel pretty decently well. I could have easily eaten a second full plate though for 40 dollars per person per plate(without drinks) I think I’ll leave it as a delicacy. They weight it and I do love this system since it ensures the buffet is being used properly and no food is being wasted. The staff is INCREDIBLE! The cook came out a few times to fill the buffet and he was full of charisma. My girlfriend was super happy to have him compliment her. Our cashier / server was a Filipino man and he was very polite, professional and with a big smile! For the experience it was worth it, it was romantic and delightful

Being vegetarian we had to try this place in Zurich. Oldest Vegeterian restaurant in the world and what unique is serving dishes from different cusines across the world! The people were friendly and very accommodating! Definitely recommend this place if you are in Zurich!

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! Let’s start with a single con : the price is pretty darn high; for being a tourist I can imagine it’s tough for most since most countries don’t have a high wage such as Switzerland. We went here on a date visiting Zürich for the first time and wow it was mouth watering and delicious! Personally I’m not a vegetarian but my girlfriend is and I always support her and we have vegetarian days, this meal was full of incredible flavors and actually made me feel pretty decently well. Beautiful restaurant. Delicious buffet of vegetable-focused dishes (inspired by several ethicities) that you pay for by weight. Such a nice variety and so good.

One of the best restaurants in Zurich. You can choose between buffet or à la carte. The food is incredibly delicious, and they have a lot of homemade drinks to choose from. The staff is very friendly. I recommend it to everyone !
