Good Italian food in Zurich. Started with a salami, prosciutto and cheese anti pasto. Came with olives and focaccia. All just as good as it is in Toscana. Also had a “Swiss” pizza with certain local cheeses and mushrooms and a mushroom sauce. The crust was perfectly cooked but a little thin. Wife had arrabbiata which also was just as good as it is in Tuscany. Service was above average and the atmosphere was perfect.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is romantic and very relaxing. The food was excellent and prepared perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars overall was the service. Our server was not friendly or attentive. For example, he did not ask if we needed beverage refills and did not come back to our table until several minutes after we finished the meal. All of food came was brought to our table simultaneously (appetizer, salad and pizza). Again, the vibe and were excellent, our server needed improvement.

I tried the pizza & Italian soup, and chicken pasta. The pizza and soup were good and full of flavor. The pasta, however, it was cold and tasted quite simple, but overall it was still a nice experience.

The place can be described as the most elite GEM! Literally everything from how we were greeted to each and every item we had were just top notch quality & extremely delicious. I really want to go and try more of the items. I loved the interior which was super cozy and had a very lovable vibe. People who attended to us were super polite. All the best to the owners and each and every staff for maintaining such an amazing place. Happy Fooding !!!!

After an extensive search online for Italian cuisine in Zurich, we decided to visit Santa Lucia in Marktgasse. On arrival, we were greeted and shown to a lovely spacious area at the back of the restaurant. The space was filled with natural light thanks to the large windows, which added to the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Our server welcomed us and, after a short wait, took our drinks order. We placed our food order shortly after and our starter arrived not long later. There was a small mix-up with the dish, but the team quickly corrected it and we appreciated the swift response. The foccacia bread we had was very enjoyable and set us up nicely for the rest of the meal. We then received our pizza and pasta dishes, both of which were lovely and full of flavour. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience in a great location right in the heart of Zurich.
