Nice place and the food tasted okay. However, even though I ordered the meat medium-rare, it arrived very well-done. The dessert was also just okay — the ice cream clearly hadn’t been kept frozen the whole time, as it was full of ice crystals, and the choux pastry was rubbery instead of crisp. Overall, simply not good enough for a restaurant of this standard. I enjoyed the food here. I had a squid appetizer and the Steak Espetada for a main dish. We received our food fast and the servers were very nice and attentive. Went to Parreirinha 2 weeks ago on a date with my partner :) It was quiet but most likely due to the cold because the food was wow! We ordered the snails to share as a starter. The only downside was that they served it with a sad, semi-stale Albany brown bread. We mentioned the stale bread and our waiter kindly replaced it with another freshly sliced Albany brown bread. Honestly, the complimentary Portuguese roll would’ve been more suitable. Then we ordered the seafood to share and the plate was big enough for us to bath in. The prawns, crayfish, calamari, fish was amazing, except the clams, which were tasty shells with amazing tomato relish but we were able to find traces of clam meat if we were lucky. Overall, it was an excellent experience with a few minor adjustments that can be made. Will definitely still go back and indulge though.

Absolutely amazing. Food, booze and service. Both times here has been incredible and has become a contender for at least monthly visits. Food is amazing and the shooters are incredible. Definitely would recommend for a good night out and affordable as well.

They've lost their excellence that they had when they were in the south. Snails were tasteless and had no garlic flavour and the sauce felt like it was watered down. Chips were soaked in oil. Prawns were okay, hardly flavour. Curry prawns weren't even a curry, watered down with too much coconut. Very disappointing and the new place feels Cold. It's lost it's warm atmosphere and inviting ambiance it once had.
